Privacy notice

In short: Five1s is a free game with no ads, no analytics and no tracking. To make online tables work, it stores the name you choose, an anonymous player ID and your game moves. You can ask for all of it to be deleted at any time.

What is processed, and why
- Online tables: the name you enter, a random anonymous player ID, the table code, scores, dice throws, "Zocken" taps and the game log. This is needed to run the game you join (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Anonymous login: instead of an account, your browser receives an anonymous login from Google Firebase so you can return to your table. No email, phone number or password is collected.
- Technical data: when the site loads, the hosting and database providers process your IP address and basic browser information to deliver the page and keep the service secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in running the site safely).
- On your device only: your name, language, sound setting, game length and last table code are saved in your browser's local storage so you don't have to re-enter them. They are not sent anywhere. Games against the computer and pass-and-play games stay on your device.
There are no advertising or analytics cookies. The fonts are served from this site, not from Google Fonts.
Service providers
- Google Firebase (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC): hosting of this website (Firebase Hosting), anonymous login and the database for online tables.
Google may process data outside the EU, including in the USA. Such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long data is kept
A table is deleted when its host closes it. Tables with no activity for 30 days are deleted the next time one of their players opens Five1s. If you want a table or your data deleted sooner, email us and we will delete it. Anonymous login records are kept by Firebase until you clear your browser data or ask for deletion.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. Write to the email address above. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, for example the one in your country or Malta's Information and Data Protection Commissioner.
